Sahip Ata Foundation Museum

The Sahip Ata Foundation Museum is a historical museum located in the Meram district of Konya. The museum was commissioned by the Seljuk vizier Sahip Ata Fahrettin Ali in 1258. Originally designed as a complex, the structure comprised a mosque, a mausoleum, a bathhouse, and a madrasa. Today, it serves as a museum featuring numerous works of art, tiles, and various historical objects from the Seljuk era.

Named after Sahip Ata Fahrettin Ali, an important Seljuk statesman of the period, this building is considered one of the finest examples of Seljuk art and architecture. Notably, the museum stands out with its stone craftsmanship and tile decorations, offering visitors a journey through time.
