Takkasızlar Mansion

Takkasızlar Mansion, built in the 19th century, is one of the most significant examples of civil architecture in Akşehir. The wooden craftsmanship used in the construction of the mansion reveals the artistic richness of the Ottoman period. The two-story structure was built in accordance with the traditional Turkish house plan, offering visitors a historical journey through the details of its interiors. The ground floor features a large courtyard with rooms opening onto it. The upper floor includes guest salons and bedrooms. Now serving as a museum, the mansion provides visitors with a historical atmosphere and the opportunity to closely learn about the Ottoman period lifestyle.
