Walking Route from Mevlana Museum to Karatay Madrasa

This walking route covers Konya's most significant historical and cultural sites. Starting at the Mevlana Museum, which houses the tomb of the 13th-century great thinker Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, you can take a short walk to reach the Şems-i Tebrizi Tomb. This tomb is dedicated to Şems-i Tebrizi, who played a crucial role in Mevlana's life. After visiting the tomb, head towards the Sadreddin Konevi Mosque. This mosque is a beautiful example of Seljuk architecture and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Your last stop will be the Karatay Madrasa. This madrasa holds an important place in the Islamic world, famous for its tiles, and is one of the educational structures from the Seljuk era.
