Karatay Historical Walking Route

This walking route is located in the Karatay district of Konya, offering an ideal path to explore the historical texture of the area. The route starts at Alaaddin Hill and extends to the Karatay Madrasa. Alaaddin Hill is one of the oldest settlements in Konya, where you can visit the Alaaddin Mosque. Then, head towards the Karatay Madrasa. This historical building is a significant work from the Seljuk period, notable for its stone craftsmanship. Along the way, you can also see other historical buildings such as the Ince Minaret Madrasa and the Şerafettin Mosque. The route is approximately 2 km long, and the walking time is about 120 minutes.
