Obruk Inn

Obruk Inn is located in the Karatay district of Konya, right next to the Kızören Sinkhole. It is situated on the historic Silk Road, one of the significant trade routes during the Anatolian Seljuk period, built to accommodate merchants and securely store their goods. The architectural structure showcases the elegant examples of Seljuk stone craftsmanship and reflects the architectural aesthetics of the era. The stones used in the construction of the inn are notable for their durability and strength. The courtyard of the caravanserai offers a spacious area for guests and caravans to rest comfortably. Although it has undergone various repairs over time, the inn largely retains its original structure today.
